Building a Consistent Fabric 1.20.1 Profile
Prepare a Fabric 1.20.1 Minecraft instance with aligned mod releases, explicit dependencies, and a repeatable test process.

Keep the target version explicit
Create a profile that clearly identifies Minecraft 1.20.1 and the intended loader. Do not mix releases for adjacent Minecraft versions simply because their numbers look similar. Check the file metadata for every project added to the instance.
Track libraries separately
Some mods request supporting libraries while others do not. Record those requirements rather than installing unrelated libraries by habit. When a release calls for a minimum dependency version, verify that the selected file also supports the target game environment.
Test startup before expanding the pack
Begin with a small collection and confirm it launches. Add the remaining mods in groups, testing between changes. Keep a record of the last successful group so a launch failure can be narrowed to a manageable set of additions.
Preserve the established profile
Once the setup works, save the mod list and configuration folder together. Evaluate updates in a copy before changing an active world. A consistent older profile can be easier to maintain than an installation that mixes several release branches without a plan.
